In 2006, Randy Bacik was unanimously elected as the chairman of the FGCU Hockey Board of Directors. Since taking over as president, Randy has injected the FGCU Hockey program with nothing but positive energy and has successfully established FGCU Hockey as one of the elite college hockey teams in the United States. Chairman Bacik has been involved with the FGCU Hockey Team since its inception in 2002 and is an avid fan of college hockey. During his time with FGCU Hockey, Randy has served as both the Equipment Manager and Director of Travel. As Bacik worked directly with the players on a daily basis, he quickly learned about what was required to operate the program. As Bacik continued to work behind the scenes, he earned the respect of everyone within the program from players and coaches to important team sponsors. Bacik has brought both his experience and personality to the team and has already made a significant impact with the program. Randy Bacik is also the president of Royal Shell Vacations.
Matthew Maida comes to the FGCU Hockey program with nothing but pure enthusiasm for the sport of hockey. As the owner and operator of his very own sports entertainment and event management company, it comes as no surprise that Maida was appointed as the Director of Team Operations. Maida has been involved with the sport of hockey since the age of three and has volunteered his time to assist in the operation of many hockey teams. Most notably, Maida was instrumental in the development of the Mississauga Hornets Juvenile "AAA" Team of the Greater Toronto Hockey League. During his time in hockey, Matt has consistently become involved with his teams off the ice. As the Director of Team Operations, Maida is directly responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the entire FGCU Hockey program. Maida is currently a student at Florida Gulf Coast University majoring in Business Management with a concentration in entrepreneurship and is also the president of eMCee Productions.
Richard Snizek comes to FGCU Hockey as a former college hockey player in the Deleware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference. As the president, secretary, and treasurer, Snizek was instrumental in the day-to-day operation of his team. After recently retiring to Fort Myers, Florida it didn't take long for Snizek to find the closest college hockey team to his new home and it just happened to be FGCU's Hockey Team. As the director of hockey operations, Richard is responsible for all activities related to operating the team off the ice. Specifically, Snizek coordinates the management of the FGCU Hockey Team at all times. Snizek is one of the most well oragnized members of the FGCU Hockey administrative team and is extremely effective when it comes to communicating on behalf of the team. Richard has been involved with the FGCU Hockey Team since 2003 and has become a landmark behind the scenes. Richard is supported by his loving wife Cindy and daughter Ashley.

It's been two years and two hockey seasons since Dick Sullivan arrived in Estero, Florida from Middlebury, Vermont. His first contact with the team was General Manager, Richard Snizek. He approached Richard at a team practice at Germain Arena in the fall of 2004. Dick expressed his desire to assist the hockey team wherever they could use him. The next thing he knew, Dick was being contacted by the Director of Officials, Mike Eckhart, who proceeded to tell him to show up for games and possibly there would be something there for him to assist with. Once Dick's dedication to the sport and the team was realized, the rest is history and he has been the team scorekeeper ever since he showed up for his first FGCU hockey game two years ago. Dick looks forward to the new season in Division II, another step in the future of hockey at FGCU. In 2006, Sullivan was appointed to the Director of Officating position. Sullivan is directly responsible for coordinating and organizing all officials for FGCU Hockey home games.
