Clash Celebrates Six Year Anniversary
A Walk Down Memory Lane!
Every year, the FGCU Hockey Team hosts the Gulf Coast Clash at Germain Arena in Fort Myers, Florida. This year's tournament will be held from January 14-17, 2010. Over the years, we have entertained some of the very best team in the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The popularity of the tournament has turned this invitation only event into a mid-season showdown of the top college hockey teams every year! Some of the teams that have participated in the Clash include the: Tennessee Volunteers, Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, Northwood Timberwolves, Penn State - Altoona Nittany Lions, Penn State - Delco Nittany Lions, Florida Atlantic Owls, South Florida Bulls, Central Florida Golden Knights, Kennesaw State Owls, and the University of Texas Longhorns. It becomes more difficult every year to capture the Gulf Coast Clash Cup. |
