| Spring 2010 Tryout Dates Announced Interested Players Must Submit Tryout Applications & Tryout Fees December 26, 2009 All players interested in trying out for the FGCU Hockey Team in the Spring 2010 must complete a tryout application. The Spring 2010 FGCU Hockey tryouts will take place on January 6, 2010 at Germain Arena from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM. In order to be eligible to tryout, players must submit both a tryout application and fee prior to tryouts. Also, all interested players are encouraged to contact the coaching staff. as soon as possible. The 2010-2011 FGCU Hockey tryouts will take place from August 30, 2010 - September 2, 2010 at Germain Arena. There will also be a mandatory meeting for all interested players on Sunday, August 29, 2010 in the Student Union Ballroom at 1:00 PM on the Florida Gulf Coast University campus. Many prospective players will be moving the Southwest Florida area and are now ready to focus on FGCU Hockey. | D3 Eagles Sprint Out of the Gate FGCU Eagles Open With Three-Game Winning Streak! October 2, 2010 After a week-long tryout in late August and several weeks of early morning practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Eagles finalized their Division III roster with seventeen players returning from prior years and ten new faces. While most of the team hails from across Florida, seven out-of-state players represent Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Mexico City, Mexico.
