| Fall 2007 Tryout Dates Announced Interested Players Must Submit Tryout Applications & Tryout Fees April 15, 2007 All players interested in trying out for the FGCU Hockey Team next season must complete a tryout application. The 2007-2008 FGCU Hockey tryouts will occur from September 6-7, 2007 at Germain Arena. There will also be a mandatory meeting for all interested players on September 3, 2007 at Florida Gulf Coast University's Welcome Center. Tryout times will be released at a later date. | FGCU Hockey Adds Division 3 Team to the Program Division 3 Website Launched! April 15, 2007 Over the past five years, the FGCU Hockey Team has experienced tremendous growth. Since our inaugural season in 2002, the team has provided an opportunity for over one hundred players to compete at the college hockey level. In our short five year history, the program has earned four National Championship Tournament berths and hosted an ACHA National Championship. | Final Schedule Released Eagles Take On The Biggest and Best in the South! April 15, 2007 Aa the FGCU Hockey Team launches its new Division 3 team, the staff have put together a well balanced schedule for the 2007-2008 Season. Next year's schedule will give the team every opportunity to qualify for post-season play, complete with 24 regular season games, 6 prospective playoff games, 14 home games, and an out of state trip to take on the best in the Southern region, the FGCU Hockey Team will have their work cut out for them this season. Many prospective players have settled into their routines and are now ready to focus on FGCU Hockey. | D3 Eagles Split Weekend Series With Ice Bulls FGCU and USF Trade Wins! October 28, 2007 In a game that seemed like a surefire nail biter after the close of the first period, with the score tied at one a piece, the Division 3 squad of the Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles hockey club turned things up a notch and added yet another win to their record in an exciting game against the University of South Florida Bulls. The Eagles are now 5-0 and poised to make a move in the rankings following a 5-3 victory Friday night.
