Off Season Brings Coaching Changes
Bob Brinkworth & Alex Weisenburger Take Over Behind the Bench

The FGCU Hockey Team just finished its inaugural season in Division 2 of the ACHA and made some tremendous strides both on and off the ice. With that said, as the team continues to grow, the Board of Directors felt that a coaching change was necessary in order to take the team to the next level. It is with great pleasure that the FGCU Hockey Program welcomes both Bob Brinkworth and Alex Weisenburger behind the Eagles bench. The pair will be joined by two-time Stanley cup winner Paul Stanton, who is returning for his second season as part of the coaching staff. Also, Cam McCormick will take on a more active role for the upcoming season as the team's official goalie coach. The new coaching staff will spend the off-season preparing for what promises to be one of the most historic seasons in FGCU Hockey history.
