Team Meeting Officially Launches 08-09 Season
Prospective Players Divided Into Teams For Tryouts

At 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2008, the off-season officially ended. As prospective players and returning players gathered together for the annual team meeting, team staff welcomed everyone to the 2008-2009 Season. The meeting was highlighted with an appearance from Head Coach Alex Weisenburger, who introduced prospective players to the FGCU Hockey experience. General Manager Richard Snizek also walked prospective players through their potential obligations as a player for the FGCU Hockey Team. With over sixty players trying out this semester, the coaching staff will have a difficult time choosing the final roster.
