Greek Life Challenge!
FGCU Fraternities and Sororities Will Compete For $500.00 Donation

On January 14th, 15th, and 16th your Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles will play host to the Boston College Eagles, Michigan State Spartans, and Colorado Buffaloes at the 2011 Gulf Coast Clash Tournament. We are happy to announce two events will take place over this weekend of games. Friday night your Eagles will host the Ignite college ministry group as they take on Boston College. The second event will take place during the entire Clash. This event will be known as the Greek Challenge where FGCU’s Greek Life will be competing for two donations of 250 dollars sponsored by FGCU Ice Hockey. With some of the best college hockey teams in the country heading to Southwest Florida and the agressive gameday promotions, there will be large crowds at this year's Clash.

The guidelines for the Greek Challenge are as follows:

• Each Greek Organization interested in participating must have a complete roster turned into FGCU Ice Hockey Volunteer Coordinator Jamie Flatley prior to the start of warm-ups (8:15pm) Friday night.

• Each Greek member must check-in upon arrival at each of the three games (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night) in order to get counted as attending.

• Since each Greek Organization has a different number of members, to ensure a fair competition there will be two Greek Challenges:
1. The Greek Organization that has the most overall attendance during the Clash and,
2. The Greek Organization that has the highest percentage of overall members attending during the Clash.

The Greek Organization that wins each challenge will win $250 donated to the Greek Organizations Philanthropy. FGCU Hockey is proud to support our university Greek Life and look forward to donating to causes on their behalf! Be sure to come out to Germain Arena this weekend to take in some of the best college hockey the country has to offer and experience an atomosphere like no other. It is going to be loud!
