State of Ohio Next Up for Eagles Hockey Team
FGCU Hockey Prepares for 4th Annual Division II National Showcase

After a successful opening weekend in Michigan, the FGCU Hockey Team will bounce of the state of Florida to Youngstown, Ohio to participate in the 4th Annual Division II National Showcase. The Eagles head into the prestigious event with a 3-1-0 record and are looking to improve on their season record. The team will be challenged by some of the best team in the Southeast Division including Ohio State, William Paterson, and Bowling Green State University. FGCU will face Ohio State in their opening game of the tournament. The Buckeyes are a perennial powerhouse in the country and the Eagles have been preparing for this tough first round match-up. The team is extremely proud to represent Florida Gulf Coast University against such big name schools as FGCU Hockey continues to shine a positive light on the university.
