| Paul Stanton & Tom Nelson Join Coaching Staff Paul Stanton is a former Pittsburgh Penguin and 2-time Stanley Cup Champion October 5, 2006 Before the team starts its first season in Division two, Paul Stanton and Tom Nelson have joined the Eagles coaching staff. Paul Stanton is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion and has played fifteen years of professional hockey. He will be accompanied by Tom Nelson who has spent a majority of his career coaching high levels of amateur hockey. The duo is expected to add some depth behind the bench this season. Coach Steve Jensen announced the addition of the two coaches and noted that the team was extremely lucky to have such high profile coaches join the team. Paul Stanton comes to the team after just recently completing his professional hockey career in Europe and will offer the team a fresh perspective on the game. Tom Nelson admits that he has had his eye on the program for quite some time and has been interested in getting involved for awhile.
