Over Eighty Prospects attended the Fall 2009 Tryout Sessions

The FGCU Hockey program has improved every year in their existence and it appears that trend will continue in the 2009-2010 season. With more prospects to evaluate than in any previous year, the FGCU Hockey Coaching Staff was left with many difficult decisions. After completing five days of evaluation, the coaches appeared confident with the roster that have been essembled. Division 2 Head Coach Bob Brinkworth commented, "With this kind of talent, the Division 2 team should compete for a National Championship again this season." The Division 2 lineup will look very different from the team that took the ice one year ago.
