| 2008-2009 Schedule Released FGCU Hockey Scheduled to Play in 37 Regular Season Games September 28, 2008 After one of the most ambitious schedules in the team history during the 2007-2008 Season, the FGCU Hockey Team has followed up in 08-09 with one of the best home ice schedules in the program's history. This year's schedule will be challenging as usual and will feature the most impressive list of teams to travel to Fort Myers, Florida to take on the FGCU Eagles in the program's history, including the University of Michigan and Ohio State University. Complete with 37 regular season games, 26 home games, and three out of state trips including a five game weekend in Missouri and a four game weekend in New York, the FGCU Hockey Team will have their work cut out for them this season. |
| In addition to an impressive home schedule, the FGCU Hockey team will also travel around the country to take on perennial powerhouses such as Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University, Kennesaw State University, Missouri State University, Siena College and Wagner College. The team is planning some great hockey weekends in Southwest Florida when they have the opportunity to host college hockey superpowers Ohio State University on October 31, 2008 & November 1, 2008 as well as the University of Michigan on January 16 & 17, 2009 at Germain Arena.
