Welcome to the 2008-2009 FGCU Hockey Season. During the past six years, FGCU Hockey games have quickly become one of the most popular events at Florida Gulf Coast University. Averaging over 800 fans per game, Germain Arena and the FGCU Hockey Team always provide the best in entertainment and competitive college hockey. Complete with introduction ceremonies, a live deejay, a hype emcee, light shows, intermission shows, and tons of giveaways, a night out with the FGCU Hockey Team will not leave you disappointed. Wheather you are looking for a way to spend time with the family, or a place to hang out with friends, FGCU Hockey has it for you. This year the Ice Eagles will be hosting 25 home games at Germain Arena heating up the Southwest Florida weekends. Some of the biggest and most recognized university teams are visiting the Fort Myers Area to take on the FGCU Eagles Hockey Team including: Ohio State Buckeyes, Michigan Wolverines, Illinois Fighting Illini, Missouri Tigers, Duke Blue Devils, South Florida Bulls, William Paterson Pioneers, and more.
